Become a Volunteer


Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Yolo Family Service Agency (YFSA).

Yolo Family Service Agency is seeking volunteers from our community who are interested in promoting mental health services and programs that provide such services.  At YFSA we value the time and work of every individual who wishes to join our team. To insure that those we serve are safe we may seek a background and reference check from our potential volunteers.  For more information regarding a background and reference check please contact us.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

* Help with coordinating our monthly Art Show and Sale – at our Woodland office.

* Help with maintaining landscape at the Woodland office.

* Help with grant writing

* Help with fundraising and special events

* Help up-grade and improve our outdoor therapeutic play yard.

* Help with coordinating YFSA’s involvement in the annual Walk for Mental Health.

Your first step to become a volunteer with Yolo Family Service Agency is to complete our on-line application.   If you have an interest in one of the listed Volunteer Opportunities, please indicate this on your application.  The information you provide will up us make a successful match.  You will find on the application a place to share your interests as well as availability.

Thank you for taking the time to consider becoming a volunteer at YFSA.  Your time and effort is greatly appreciated and will help YFSA achieve it’s goal to provide mental health services throughout Yolo County. YFSA has offices in Woodland, Davis and West Sacramento that will benefit from interested community members such as yourself.  We also provide services in Clarksburg,  Knights Landing, Winters and Esparto.
